PAISLEY AND DOLLY

OCTOBER 30, 2012 - PAISLEY AND DOLLY
A couple of funny stories from Nashville today, and I thought I would share them with you off the radio...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. PAISLEY

Brad Paisley celebrated his 40th birthday on Sunday and in honor of this occasion, Paisley's Grand Ole Opry Family sent him a special birthday greeting from the Opry stage. The video shows a woman standing next to a giant birthday cake on the legendary stage with her back facing the camera. The woman is dressed like Marilyn Monroe when she sang the now iconic "Happy Birthday Mr. President" song to President John F. Kennedy in 1962. She substitutes the words "Mr. Paisley" for "Mr. President" and then once she finishes singing the song, the clip cuts to Little Jimmy Dickens who is dressed up in the very same Monroe white dress complete wig and fake bosom and he says, "Happy Birthday Mr. Paisley," before he grabs his fake boobs and says, "This girdle is killing me."  Just watch!

DOLLY AND THE SEVEN DWARFS
With her lovable personality and stunning looks, it's easy to see why the world so wholly embraces the legendary Dolly Parton. These attributes also give the singer a certain enchanting quality that might have some saying that Dolly is indeed the fairest of them all. When it comes to having her own affinity with a fabled fair lady, Parton says she identifies herself with a woman whose heart is as white as snow, but it might not be for the most wholesome reason. Dolly tells Vanity Fair that her favorite fairytale character is, "Snow White, because she slept with the seven dwarfs and got away with it."

Here's a hilarious Carol Burnett Snow White skit...enjoy!
