DIG FOR LIFE BEGINNINGS

OCTOBER 3, 2012 -DIG FOR LIFE BEGINNINGS 

When breast cancer claimed her mother’s life in 2000, former Southeast Missouri State University women’s volleyball coach Cindy Gannon founded Dig for Life to help other women fight this disease.

Dig for Life is a series of fundraisers to educate women in the region about the importance of early breast cancer detection though regular mammography screenings. Sponsored by Southeast Missouri State University and private donors, Dig for Life provides mammograms to area women who otherwise would not receive this important screening.
